THE SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT SECTOR (SDS)

The social development sector is commonly known as SDS, is broadly doing the work community mobilization among the rural people far away from the initiative of organization network & participatory approach of work. This social advocacy of the rural masses enables them to be participative in nature in the social, political, organizational & philanthropic activities. The process of social awareness starts with the first entry of SDS team in the village for the general introduction & culminates with the formation of a village development organization or CO Community organization in a particular village. Wherein in the urban areas such groups are called community groups, these groups are basically organizations representatives in that particular locality or village and also act as facilitator The TDP, SDS team forms community organization / community group in their particular target areas. Each CO is consisting of 15 members including three office bearers. The three office bearers include president, general Secretary, Treasure accompanied with 12 body members. TDP has formed 500 groups at Present in different districts of Sindh. The Process of CO formation is an ongoing activity & TDP is fully adhering to the cause of CO formation till the last village of our target area is enlisted as CO.
